For this task, you are to research the history of computers. You will have 2 or 3 lessons on this task to start with, but we may come back to it later in the course.

 

You are to produce complete history of computers, from the first mechanical  computer, right through to the current generations of computers. Your first part of this would be to come up with a definition of what a computer is. Spend the first lesson planning a layout and doing your definition.

 

Tips: Ensure you look at multiple sources of information.

What is a reliable source?

Who are/were the major players in the computing revolution?

Reference your source with URL, author (if mentioned) and date.
