Robotics

 

For this section of Digital Technologies, you will be doing some robotics.

 

Part One

Before getting in the making of a robot, you need to do some research around robotics.

Present the following information in any form you wish (a video presentation, document, webpage, poster etc).

• What is a robot?

• How are robots used in today’s society?

• How will robots be used in the future?

• How can we program robots to do what we want them to do?

• Any other information you can think of regarding robots and robotics in general. Be as detailed as you can, and ensure you reference your work using multiple sites.

You will have 2 lessons to complete this task, and you need to submit your work to Google Drive.

 

Part Two

First of all, you are to build a basic robot. Click here for one set of instructions, or use the instructions included with the kit.

 

After you have completed the build, you are to program the robot using the software on the lab PC's.
