Build a Computer

Computers consist of many different components. For this task, we will be looking a desktop computers, what's inside them, and how they work together for different purposes.

 

The main components of a computer include:

  • CPU/Processor

  • Motherboard

  • Hard drive

  • Memory/RAM

  • Graphics card/GPU

  • Case

  • Powersupply

  • Optical Drive

  • Screen/Monitor

  • Keyboard

  • Mouse

 

Your job is to ficticiously build a computer out of parts for the following budgets. $800, $1500 and unlimited. At the end of each build, you must explain your choices and purpose of your computer.

 

Websites used must be Australian and in Australian Dollars. You do not need to factor in freight costs in your build. You must use at least 3 different sites for purchasing parts.
