For this section of Digital Technologies, you will be doing some robotics.

 

Part One

Before getting in the making of a robot, you need to do some research around robotics.

Present the following information in any form you wish (a video presentation, document, webpage, poster etc).

• What is a robot?

• How are robots used in today’s society?

• How will robots be used in the future?

• How can we program robots to do what we want them to do?

 

Part Two

First of all, you are to build a basic robot. The file for this has been uploaded to the robotics topic on SIMON, or go to:

After you have completed the build, you are to program the robot using the NXT 2.0 software on the lab PC's.
